In a world that gives much,
but takes more away,
we ask for it all,
we want it our way.
We get what we ask for,
we give nothing back,
we say we help others,
but we’re never on track.
Some ask for little,
they still don’t receive,
“what can I do?”
nothing, or so we believe.
When the days comes along,
when they ask for a bit,
we say we have nothing,
we don’t give a shit.
We laugh at others,
those who just want more,
if they ask for our help though,
we show them the door.
The world is falling apart,
while we sit and watch,
we could help with our head,
but we think with our crotch.
When it comes to an end,
when it all goes away,
we’ll regret it all,
we’ll rue the day.
We know we could do more,
if only more time was had,
but that’s why it’s the end,
that’s why its so sad.
